Hello!
I’m Carolyn (but you can call me Caro). I work in the software industry (usually as a Product or Program Manager), and I specialize in creating scalable cultures of operational excellence. In non-jargon, this means I do a few things:
- I run meetings that don’t suck where we actually achieve things
- I organize projects and tasks so that everybody knows what we’re doing and when
- I create achievable goals and visions so that we can focus on what really matters
And, perhaps most importantly, I train teams on how to do all of the above and more.
In terms of job titles, I specialize in Product Management and Technical Program Management. I’m especially good at working on highly technical products, such as Developer Tools, Infrastructure, or APIs.
Outside of my day job, I have a lot of hobbies. Primarily:
- Running operations for my local community theatre as a member of its Board of Directors
- Stage Managing, Directing, or Producing plays for that same theatre
- Knitting
- Sewing
- Learning about topics in leadership, management, and the future of work
